A mobile clinic
Masisi is a troubled place in East Congo. Armed groups roam the rugged countryside killing and raping women, abducting children, burning villages. Mortality is high due to malnutrition, malaria, cholera and TB. Roads are mud tracks and the lack of transports denies the people access to the few health centers. MSF’s teams are forced to organize mobile clinics to reach the people in need: they set up medical facilities in churches and schools and treat the patients as they can.
